The owner, management and all employees of Valjaonica bakra Sevojno AD are fully dedicated to improvement of life environment. Investments in modern equipment and adequate technology provided preventive conditions for incessant and maintenable care about life environment. Action plan is addopted defining activities and dynamics of their realization. Special attention is given to sections regulating management of waste and water and air protection. Realization of the Action plan is carried out under surveillance of European Bank for Reconstruction and Development.
Constant care and improvement of life environment is one of major strategic goals of VBS AD, which includes : - Adjustments of its business activity with legal regulations, - Functioning in healthy and safe working and life environment, - Attaining of a more favorable status on ecologically demanding western market, to which VBS AD exports about 90% of its products, and - Improvement of its ranking with international financial institutions, hopefully resulting in more stable and more dynamic development of the factory. |
